Thoughts

Ash, you had a surprisingly easy way of seeing things clearly, cutting through the noise and actually hearing what was said. A remarkable magic of seeing people's hearts! We enjoyed your company at all the kids' pre-primary birthday parties, always smiling and attentive, connecting with those around you. What an incredible loss to the world. Jo, Joshua and Mackenzi, know that you are loved xxx

An early and late in person memory with Ash. I’ll be forever grateful and was so fortunate to have shared the opening and final FIFA World Cup games with Ash in 2010 that Ash had secured tickets for (and of course let’s not forget she met the love of her life Jo at these very same games). Also, so privileged to have spent a few days with Ash & Jo in their new country of residence in 2019 and visited Kensington Palace with them and the kids. Of course, at Ash’s insistence we had to head somewhere more vibrant and fun afterwards, one of Ash’s favourites Camden Market and she introduced us to her other favourite The Rave Shop! What a fabulous day & places shared with an awesome family! Irrespective of which gathering, Ash’s contagious enthusiasm for life, its experiences, the lengthy chats always at pace and her living her life to the fullest will never be forgotten. We have lost a unique and amazing friend and we are all the poorer for it. You put up a brave fight, always smiling and being gracious throughout your illness and never gave up until the end. You will be sorely missed!

Ash, you will always hold a place in my heart and memory as a wonderful person, a great mom, a loved sister in law and a loving partner to Jo. Our loss is heavens gain.
